This workshop is suitable for you whether you have some experience of watercolour and would like to explore new techniques, or a beginner. After a time to practise the techniques, you’ll be guided step by step to create two paintings to take home with you: one of a wild meadow and trees, using masking fluid to create texture and flowers. Using a limited but vibrant palette, you’ll experiment with a couple of easy to use techniques (cling film, masking fluid and spatter) as well as practising more traditional washes and wet on wet painting. Our focus will be to create paintings with atmosphere, drama and contrast. All materials are provided so you just need to bring yourself.
