Hosted by: Tania Yager Join the makers of The Wild HUnt of Vista at Weirbeer Brewing for a hands-on, creative workshop led by puppetry fabricator Tania Yager of Twisted Heart Puppetworks, as we dive into the wild world of costume building for The Wild Hunt of Vista Krampus Procession !
Whether you’re dreaming up a full Krampus character for the Hunt or want to explore other European winter spirits, come collaborate and create with us! LET'S GET STARTED!
What We’ll Cover:
- Character Ideation & Development – Create compelling personas and bring them to life.
- Material Selection & Techniques – Learn how to work with both natural and synthetic fur, as well as alternative costume materials.
- Aging & Distressing Fabric – Techniques for weathering costumes to give that timeworn, mythic edge.
- Hands-On Support – Bring your ideas, sketches, and materials for personalized feedback and guidance.
What to Bring:
- Your costume ideas, sketches, or in-progress pieces
- Any materials or tools you’d like to work with
- Extra materials to donate or swap (optional but welcome!)
Some materials will be available to use, thanks to community donations and contributions from Twisted Heart Puppetworks.
Whether you're a seasoned costumer or brand new to building characters, this is a space to experiment, collaborate, and get messy with fellow creatives. Come get your hands dirty (and maybe a little furry) as we prepare to bring the Hunt to life.
