- Advice to spark your creativity and confidence to use wild ingredients for delicious recipes and traditional remedies at home.
- Wee snippets from folklore to help secure plants and mushrooms firmly in your imagination
- Samples of wild food and foraged treats to engage all of your senses for maximum recall of each wild wonder!
- Guidance on books, kit and other resources to develop your foraging skills
- Advice about legality, sustainability and best practice for foraging.
Walking at a gentle pace, like curious snails ? taking time to notice and examine the plethora of plants and fungi that we find.
The session includes a break roughly half-way through to relax and recap over a cup of wild herbal tea or cordial. At the end of the session we will go over our finds and discuss further reading and alternative sources of information to further develop your skills.
