Four years ago, Wild Faaji began as an idea born from community, rhythm, and the need for spaces where African culture could live freely across Australia. From small beginnings to sold-out nights, we’ve created moments that shaped a new generation of connection.

After an incredible season celebrating Nigeria’s Independence with Wild & Free, we return for a true Detty December experience that brings the spirit of home to every coast. This is a journey through three cities, one culture, and one sound — a celebration of four years of Faaji.

Melbourne, where the movement started. After the unforgettable Back Outside event, we return to the courtyard for another open-air celebration that captures everything Wild Faaji stands for. This is where rhythm meets reunion, where the crowd becomes family, and where Detty December begins its coast-to-coast story. Expect pure energy, familiar faces, and that signature Melbourne intensity that always sets the tone for the summer.
