Wild Conservation at Como General Admission $40

Support Como Park Zoo & Conservatory and explore without the crowds or the kids.

Gather your friends or bring your date and take part in the Conservation Quest, a scavenger hunt all around the Zoo and Conservatory with in-depth conservation puzzles and clues to help you unlock the secrets of Como. Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature and learn all about Como’s critical conservation work, all while you race against the clock and compete with other teams to be the first to finish the Conservation Quest.

Festivities include visiting with Como’s horticulturists and zookeepers, seeing the plants and animals that make Como so special, the Conservation Quest, conservation challenges, games, cash bar, and more!

Your ticket will allow you to create the team of your choice to participate in the Conservation Quest through the Goosechase scavenger hunt app. A link to set up your Goosechase team will be emailed the week of the event. Darkness falls a little earlier when we move into fall, so the zoo habitats and grounds will close at 7:30 p.m. The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, The Ordway Gardens, and Visitor Center will remain open for the duration of the event.

Picnic boxes will be available for sale from our catering partner, Lancer Hospitality, when you arrive at Wild Conservation at Como. Each little picnic box includes a half Chicken Caesar Wrap, Grilled Veggie Wrap, or Caesar Salad in addition to sea salt potato chips, pasta salad, a pickle, and a cookie. Grab your box for $15 and wander out to enjoy your picnic at your favorite spot on zoo grounds or in the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. For something lighter, chili and popcorn snacks will also be available for sale.

General Admission tickets are $40 per person. Como Friends members are eligible for $5 off full price tickets.

Gain exclusive access to the Aquatics Building for the first hour of the event with a Wild Conservation at Como Plus ticket. Stop by to chat with a Como Zookeeper about what it takes to keep our diverse aquatic animals thriving every day. If the penguins are feeling sociable, you'll even have the chance to visit with one of our penguins out and about in the building!

You can come and go from this open-house style experience any time between 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Plus tickets also give you access to the General Admission event, including the Conservation Quest scavenger hunt, games, cash bar, and more.

Plus tickets are $60 per person. Como Friends members are eligible for $5 off full price tickets.
