About this Event
Hosted by High Line Executive Director, Alan van Capelle, we welcome renowned garden designer Piet Oudolf back to the High Line for a special public conversation with author and photographer, Ngoc Minh Ngo, and Richard Hayden, High Line Senior Director of Horticulture.
Piet Oudolf is a Dutch garden designer, nurseryman, and author. He is a leading figure of the "New Perennial" movement – his designs and plant compositions using bold drifts of herbaceous perennials and grasses, which are chosen for their four season interest including flower color and seed structure. Piet Oudolf continues to help form the High Line into what it is today.
Ngoc Minh Ngo is a New York-based photographer whose work explores the intrinsic beauty of plants and nature. She is the author and photographer of New York Green: Discovering the City’s Most Treasured Parks and Gardens, part of which highlights the High Line. Her images have been published in international publications such as The World of Interiors, Architectural Digest, and T Magazine. She has also exhibited her work at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakesh.
