About this Event
Wild Beings is a series of wellbeing activities for adults, providing a safe and supportive space to reconnect with nature in a meaningful way. All sessions include mindfulness and a nature inspired craft activity
During this morning in the woods, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of willow weaving and try your hand at making festive willow stars. Our experienced facilitators will guide you through the process helping you to create a piece of art that is both unique and personal.
The morning will include:
- Welcome and hot drinks using the Kelly kettles
- Guided mindfulness exercise
- Activity: create your very own willow star
- A reflective exercise to round off the session
There will also be time to sit and chat, a hammock to relax in and an opportunity to learn how to use the Kelly kettles.
The session will be led by experienced ‘wellbeing in nature’ practitioners from Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Wellbeing Team, and will include all tools and materials needed as well as hot drinks and biscuits.
Wild Beings is a perfect way to escape the stresses of daily life and reconnect with nature in a meaningful way. Whether you are an experienced artist or a complete beginner, this experience is suitable for adults of all ages and abilities.
