A fun and creative session for adults combining mindfulness and crafting in nature, held within a woodland nature reserve.
About this Event

Wild Beings is a series of wellbeing activities for adults, providing a safe and supportive space to reconnect with nature in a meaningful way. All sessions include mindfulness and a nature inspired craft activity

During this morning in the woods, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of wood carving and try your hand at making a simple butter knife. Our experienced facilitators will guide you through the process helping you to create a piece of art that is both unique and personal. A simple vegetarian lunch is included.

The morning will include:

  • Welcome and hot drinks using the Kelly kettles
  • Guided mindfulness exercise
  • Activity: carve your very own butter knife
  • A simple vegetarian lunch cooked on the fire
  • A reflective exercise to round off the session

There will also be time to sit and chat, a hammock to relax in and an opportunity to learn how to use the Kelly kettles.

The session will be led by experienced ‘wellbeing in nature’ practitioners from Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Wellbeing Team, and will include all tools and materials needed as well as hot drinks and biscuits.

Wild Beings is a perfect way to escape the stresses of daily life and reconnect with nature in a meaningful way. Whether you are an experienced artist or a complete beginner, this experience is suitable for adults of all ages and abilities.

So why not join us for a morning of creativity, mindfulness, and connection with nature? Book your spot today and get ready to unleash your inner ‘wild being’!

Prior booking is essential. Further details, such as directions and what to bring on the day, will be sent following booking, or by emailing [email protected].
