Pepperwood is pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting the acclaimed Wild & Scenic Film Festival! We are thrilled to invite you to join us on Saturday, August 14, 2021, in-person for a special evening at Pepperwood, or from the comfort of your home with our Video on Demand ticket option. This event is a benefit for our Inspiring Connections with Nature Initiative. Join us to experience an inspiring collection of short films which explore some of our environment’s most pressing issues, the diverse perspectives of people who love and steward nature, and hopeful solutions for a healthier planet.In-Person Event Tickets: This evening kicks off with an optional guided hike at 4:00pm, then transitions into an open house reception with a food truck at 5:00pm. Your ticket includes the hike, as well as a meal and drinks, plus the film program! Arrive early to take in the beautiful vistas and varied habitats of the preserve during the hike, or choose to just come in time to grab a bite and mingle before the films. The film program begins at 6:00pm, and runs until 8:00pm. Desserts will be served at intermission. You are welcome to stay after for a discussion exploring themes presented in the program, featuring a panel of our staff, until approximately 8:30pm. Space is limited! Video on Demand Tickets: Can’t make it to the preserve for our in-person event? Our Video on Demand ticket option allows you to view the films from the comfort of your home, on your own schedule! With this ticket, you will receive a link and password to access the film program for viewing with an internet connection via your home computer or smart device. You will have access to the film program for 5 days, and you can stop and return to view at any time during that window.
