About this Event
Create a beautiful festive wreath for your door using local, sustainably sourced ingredients. Expect a lush range of foliages and dried materials which will allow you to create something really special. There will be a range of gorgeous botanically dyed ribbons for you to finish your wreaths with too.
I will guide you every step of the way (or as much as is needed if you have made wreaths before) and there will be mulled wine, cake, chat and Christmas tunes to accompany us while we work!
Artist bio:
My name is Gemma and I grow flowers and foliage in Farsley to use in my own floristry work. I grow outdoors using natural processes which are kind to the environment and to local wildlife. I work in step with the seasons to offer beautiful flowers and floristry with ingredients that are are often a little more wild and unusual. I also belong to a wonderful collective of local growers to help me source beautiful flowers and foliage all year round.
About the venue
Sunny Bank Mills is an inspirational cultural destination in the heart of the local community of Farsley, Leeds. Founded in 1829, these glorious Mills are being regenerated by the sixth generation of the family owners, creating a wonderful blend of work, leisure and culture.
Course terms and booking conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.
If we need to cancel the course for any reason your ticket will be fully refunded.
