Wild and Well Newtown

Wild and Well is a network of local people, Health and Social Care, VCSE and grass roots community groups, nature based practitioners and Parks Department who are all interested in using local parks and green spaces in Lawrence Hill and surrounding areas to support our health and wellbeing.

The network is coordinated by Judy at Your Park ([email protected]). The aim is to bring people together to make connections to encourage and support the use of parks and green spaces for health and wellbeing. In addition there is support within the network for anyone seeking employment within Parks and Community Green Spaces.

We would love you to join us in Newtown

• Come along and meet other people interested in parks and green spaces.
• Explore how we can work together.
• Hear about Roots to Wellbeing which is taking place in Eastville Park on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 4pm.
• Find out and take part in the Trinity's project Mural Project which is taking place immeidatley after Wild and Well from 12 to 3pm- you can drop in for as long as you like.

What to bring with you:-

• As we will be going outside to do some gardening and walking, you may need to bring a coat. If the sun shines, you might want to bring a sunhat and sun cream!
• If you have any flyers or leaflets which you want to share, please do bring them.
