Wigan Harriers are hosting the 12th running of the Wigan Trail 10k at Amberswood Nature Reserve open to runners of all abilities. Don’t worry the Wigan pie and peas remain on the race menu for pre-race entries and the 2025 event will have a special medal again, details to come soon! The Wigan Trail 10k run will be held on Sunday 18th May 2025 from Springview Sports and Community Club, Wigan, (formerly known as the Amberswood 10k).
The race takes place through the trails of Wigan’s Greenheart Amberswood Park, situated between Spring View & Hindley. This former mining area has been transformed into a beautiful 160 hectare nature reserve.
