About this Event
The Wigan Borough Walking and Cycling Forum has been created to provide a platform for communication and collaboration between the public, voluntary and community organisations, businesses and charities and Wigan Council to work in partnership to support and develop opportunities for increased participation in Walking and Cycling within Wigan.
The forum will be used as a platform to provide and discuss topics such as Bee Network/MCF Active Travel Schemes, Active Neighbourhoods, MCF Activation, Walking, Wheeling and Cycling sessions/events and other related topics.
The first 30-45 minutes of the forum provides an opportunity forum members to give updates and ask questions to Council colleagues about any walking, wheeling and cycling topics. This will be followed by updates on infrastructure and walking, wheeling and cycling activities/projects/events.
