Widow's Sons Brazen Pillars 2nd Annual Polar Bear Ride and Blessing of the Bikes.Join the Brazen Pillars Masonic Riders Association for our annual Polar Bear Ride and Blessing of the Bikes.
What started out as a veteran rider letting a new rider know that we're supposed to ride the 1st day of the year if possible, manifested and took on a life of its own.
It was just going to be a few riders that day: however, Jefferson Lodge had an open house that served a pork & sauerkraut lunch and we figured we'd just end the ride there to have lunch with anyone wishing to attend.
Next, we needed a place to start the ride and decided we'd ride out of Scottie's; furthermore, it being the 1st day of the new year a blessing of our bikes seemed appropriate.
Nearly 20 bikes in attendance with no proper planning or advertising, amazingly it just happened.
Fast forward to this coming year, we're letting everyone know it's happening again somewhat in advance.
We're meeting at Scottie's (10:45ish) then BOTB/KSU approximately 11a for the Polar Bear Ride to Jefferson Lodge, group picture and lunch for those who wish to join.
All are welcome for lunch even if you don't ride; so, feel free to join us at Jefferson Lodge at Noon Jan 1st, 2026.
This will be a FUN RIDE, no charge and no reason other than riding on New Year's Day..
If you'd like, come in and join us for lunch, ($10 Suggested Donation for Jefferson Lodge, not required) take a tour Jefferson Lodge, (Home Lodge of many Brazen Pillars) and ask any questions you may have about Freemasonry..
Hope you are able to join us and feel free to send invites or share the event..
More details coming..
