Remembrance Sunday can be a particularly difficult day for many of us as we call to mind those loved ones who are no longer with us. As has been our custom in more recent years, as a Church, we are providing a space for us to remember those who have passed on since last year, or indeed beyond, through our wider act of remembrance on the evening of Remembrance Sunday at 6pm in the Cathedral.
The service will consist of 2 hymns, a bible reading, a talk, prayers and a symbolic act of remembrance using a white rose. No one will feel obliged to participate, but our experience has been that a real measure of healing can come for those who do, as together we press a little further into God’s grace.
Light refreshments will be served immediately following the service.
