As the days grow darker, perhaps part of you wants to retreat into hibernation and part of you longs to gather in community. Our world is suffering on so many levels, yet we can choose to grow into wholeness. As we gather in solitude and soulful conversations, in silence and song, we grow stronger and wiser, living less divided lives. Inspired by the work of activist and educator, Parker J Palmer, this half day retreat will provide a space for reflection and refreshment, as we walk the labyrinth, explore deeply held values and bathe in the light of one another’s unique gifts.
Facilitated by the Cathedral Labyrinth Guild member Elspeth MacEwan, hospice volunteer, expressive arts facilitator, and semi-retired psychiatrist with a passion for creative healing and spiritual growth.
Live music by Fadi Taiba who will play the Middle Eastern stringed instrument, the Oud.
