During this workshop you will guided through all the techniques to make a silver textured wide ring or earrings and a pendant.You will use silver sheet in this session which you will texture with hammers or a rolling mill. The next stage is to form your ring using a selection of pliers and then use a torch and solder to connect the ends together. Once this is done you’ll clean the metal in a citric acid bath and polishing cloths to make your piece super sparkly.
Materials for 1 ring or a pendant and earrings are included in the fee.
(Laser cut paper, skeleton leaves and lace can be used to texture the metal so please do feel free to bring your own – but note that they will be crushed in the process)
