All of us here at Alaska Bakes are super excited about this years Wicklow Cancer Support coffee morning. Anyone who has availed or knows anyone who has availed of this amazing service knows how important and invaluable WCS are to all of us here in Wicklow. The outstanding work carried out daily by the volunteers of WCS does not go unnoticed by the people of Wicklow who truly appreciate the hard work that these wonderful volunteers do. The services provided would not be possible without the help and support of the local community. We know all charity fundraising activities have been greatly affected during the pandemic so we want to make this years coffee morning extra special. This year we will hold a raffle with some amazing prizes up for grabs including vouchers for local businesses and generously donated by local businesses (all will be revealed very soon) Raffle tickets will be on sale locally and the draw will take place during the coffee morning on Friday the 25th We will be hosting this years coffee morning outside of course ? Wind, rain, hail or snow there will be no stopping us ?? We are delighted and extremely grateful that the kind folks at Shay Doyle’s & The Arches Pub are allowing us to use their amazing beer garden for the event. Having access to the beer garden will allow us to adhere to social distancing guidelines and also enable us to cater for more folks to enjoy the coffee and Wicklows tastiest Cinnamon Rolls ?? Coffee and a choice of cake will be available for €5 on the morning, all proceeds from these sales will go to WCS. We really look forward to seeing you all there for such a great cause.
