Gut-N-Go Compact/Midsize
General.
All air bags and charges glass bumper covers headlight and taillights and flammable material MUST be removed from vehicle.
Stock gas tanks MUST be removed. and a metal 5 gal fuel cell MAX. MUST be mounted inside the car in a safe location. NO PLASTIC FUEL CELLS
Any 1980s and newer front wheel drive car allowed. NO all wheel drive allowed if car comes with all wheel drive you MUST make it 2wd.
Helmet, long sleeve shirt and pants and closed toed shoes or boots and safety glasses if using an open faced helmet MANDATORY. Highly recommended FR sweatshirt or Fire jacket.
Helmet and seatbelt MUST be on at all times during the competition. IF helmet comes off you will be allowed to refasten it and continue one time after that you will be disqualified.
Trailer hitches MUST be fully removed.
Clean all debris out of car no loose material allowed in car period. EX. no beer cans nuts blots glass metal pcs or tools.
ABSOLUTLY NO DRINKING IN THE PITS TILL AFTER COMPLETION OF EVENT. PIT CREW INCLUDED.
MUST have functioning seat belts.
Officials decision is final. we all understand that rules are interpreted in many ways but at the end of the day it comes down to this is supposed to be a cheap and safe easy way to run and have fun while also having a fair derby for everyone.
BUMPER:
MUST be 1980s and newer FWD factory tin style bumper. NO loading stuffing or seam welding bumpers allowed.
NOTHING ALLOWED INSIDE OF FRAME RAILS.
If bumper is rotted or plastic or fiberglass you may change to a factory 1980s and newer factory tin style FWD bumper.
To mount your bumper. You can square off what is only needed to mount your bumper do not shorten to core support or you will not run. 1. you can have 4 one inch welds to hold your bumper on DO NOT weld all the way around the frame rails.
FRAMES WILL BE SCOPED IF WE FEEL YOU HAVE ANYTHING IN THE FRAME RAILS.
Rear bumper MUST remain stock or be removed.
MOTOR:
NO altering motor mounts you MAY remove motor mounts but do not add or reinforce motor mounts in anyway.
Motor and transmission mounts MUST remain stock.
NO protectors allowed period.
A
Body&Frame:
NO creasing or dishing allowed all quarter panels must remain upright.
Trunk lid MAY have 1 single 90 degree bend no more than 50% of trunk lid can be tucked.
You are allowed to notch or dimple the rear frame rails slightly.
You MAY have a slight pre bend in the trunk to help the rear end roll up. officials decision is final.
NOTHING connecting frame and unibody together.
Doors/rear hatch:
1 option MAX DO NOT INTERCHANGE. 4 spots max to hold doors or rear hatch shut.
1 loop 3/8" chain MAX 3 loops #9 wire or 3 loops seat belts or 3 3/8" MAX bolts in window area.
Nothing can go around frame rails.
Hood/Trunk:
Hood MUST have a 12"X12" hole to have room to put out fire.
Hood and Trunk MUST be on stock hinges.
4 locations MAX to hold hood and trunk down. Stock hinges do not count as hold downs.
1 option MAX DO NOT INTERCHANGE. 1 loop 3/8" MAX chain 3 loops #9 wire or 3 loops seat belts.
You MAY weld a 1" MAX washer around hole to help prevent hold down from ripping through sheet metal. Washer MUST be a min 2 inches away from any seam.
Window Bar:
1 option MAX. nothing can be used to strengthen the car this is for safety only.
2 spots of #9 wire from bottom of front windshield area to top of front windshield area and twisted to take slack out. 2 spots of 3/8" MAX chain bolted to top of front windshield and to bottom of front windshield. or 1 2"x 1/4" flat stock bolted to top of windshield area and to bottom of windshield area. or you can leave front windshield in the car.
Tires:
Any air filled tire is allowed.
Doubled tubed or flapped is allowed.
Stock rims ONLY no built rims or protectors allowed.
Cage:
Simple 4 point floating cage is allowed. NO material larger than 6" MAX
Dash bar MUST be a Minimum of 6" away from firewall 60" door bars MAX.
Tank protector/holder optional but if using one NO bigger than 2 wider or taller than fuel cell and Must be 6" away from all rear seat sheet metal and a minimum of 4" off the floor.

VEHICLE PREPARATION
NO CHRYSER V BUMPERS OR HOMEMADE.
This class is open to any year except 1973 and older imperials
1. Remove all glass, chrome, plastic, moldings, headliner, flammable material, A/C coolant, trailer hitches and interior decorating
2. Stock gas tank must be removed. A 10 gallon MAX metal tank MUST be mounted in the rear seat area. The tank
must be very secure and covered. Use proper rated fuel lines, NO Plastic tanks
3. Electric fuel pump allowed but switch must be clearly marked on/off.
4. No more than (2) batteries allowed which MUST be relocated to front passenger floor, secured and
covered.
5. Floor shifter allowed. Ignition and wiring modifications (hotwire) allowed.
6. Hood must have 12” x 12” minimum hole to easily extinguish fires. Extra hole(s) in hood not required
if header holes are least 12” x 12”.
8. After market steering columns NOT allowed.
Bumpers:
Any automotive stock bumper except Chrysler new yorker or imperial bumpers. Tube steel bumper allowed 3x6 MAX must be straight no metal added. No aftermarket in this class. Do not load bumpers full of steel or concrete. 63" bumper length max 21 inch bumper height max 14 inch minimum for rear bumper
FRAME
No welding of any kind unless stated below. You may not prebend back end up. You may notch frame.
Bumper shocks can be beat in and welded.
Body mounts
You MAY change all your body bolts out for 4" x 1/2" MAX bolt. But MUST have stock spacer mount or similar spacer and stock washers. DO NOT USE METAL SPACERS.
You may hardnose bumper to frame no shorting to core support.
Hood and Trunk:
One simple 90 degree on trunk lid only or no tucking period you MAY use 3 loops 9 wire or 1 loop 3/8 chain to hold your hood down in 6 spots. PICK ONLY ONE OPTION DONT USE BOTH.
Trunk, 4 spots; 3/8 chain max; 1 chain per hole or 3 strands of 9 wire per hole.
Nothing may go around the bumper or frame. Sheet metal to sheet metal. Bolt may only connect links nothing to sheetmetal or frame or bumper.
You may weld washer on fender, hood, trunk for help prevent wire from ripping through sheet metal.
Do not pound down speaker deck or trunk lid. NO THREADED ROD OR BOLTS PERIOD
Doors:
Doors MUST be chained or wired shut in 3 spot per door. You may run 1 additional chain or Wire around window area . 3/8 chain or 3 loops of 9 wire per spot.
Driver’s door may be Wired in 2 extra spots for safety or welded 5 on 5 off 3"x1/4" material MAX.
CAGE:
1 bar in the dash no smaller than 2”; no larger than 6” also 1 bar behind the seat and 2 door bars 1 per side no longer than 6 inchs past b piller. may be bolted or welded to door posts. You may run 2 down legs total 1 per side off door bar to the sheet metal. Do not run this to the frame or body mount.
You may also weld a plate on the driver’s door 2” past door seam 1/4 max thick; 12” tall.
Roll bar (HALO) recommended off back seat bar only. MUST bolt to roof in two spots back seat bar must be within 6 inches of doorpost
Tank protector not mandatory but highly recommended if using a tank protector it can not be any bigger that 2 inchs past your fuel cell in any direction and MUST be straight up and down do not angle tank protector back towards rear window opening. or if your not using a tank protector you MAY run a tank holder mounted off back seat bar either option MUST be a MIN 8 inchs off of the floor.
Rear ends:
Stock rear end only no braced rearends or built rear ends.
SUSPENION:
MUST be stock to car Tie rods Front upper and lower a arms, steering boxes ball joints everything must be stock ford to ford gm to gm mopar to mopar. Springs must bounce no welding springs can only chain rear end down. spring spacers allowed but MUST bounce.
Engines & Drivetrain:
Tran’s coolers allowed lines must be safely protected, stock type cross member ONLY.
Motors may be swapped but ONLY similar motors car came with. STOCK RUBBER MOTOR MOUNTS ONLY. FORD to FORD GM TO GM MOPAR TO MOPAR "STOCK TYPE MOTORS". Stock driveshaft only can cut and weld drive shaft to fit your car.
NO AFTERMARKET GAS PEDALS OR BRAKE PEDALS allowed
no radiator gaurds allowed
Simple floor shifter allowed.
You may carb your motor to make it run if you cant wire it to fuel injection.
Tires:
ANY TIRE allowed. STOCK RIMS ONLY, valve stem protector is ok
03 and newer must be 100% stock suspension and steering.
NOT ALLOWED FOR ANY CAR Distributor protectors, reinforced tie rods, control arms, trailing arms, creasing body
Panels. . NO THREADED ROD FOR ANY HOOD OR TRUNK hold downs. No tipping or cold bending of Frame.

MULTI MINIS
General:

Floor shifter allowed no cable shifters. Ignition and wiring modifications (hotwire) allowed. Hood must have 12” x 12” minimum hole.
4 wheel and 2-wheel trucks and suv allowed. 4-wheel drive vehicles MUST remove one drive shaft.
BUMPERS
You may change front & back bumper to 80 and newer factory bumper. DO NOT load or stuff. Seam welding is ok. Tube or pipe may be used as well NOTHING BIGGER than 4 x 4 X 1/4". max must be straight and hollow NO AFTERMARKET OR HOMEMADE BUMPERS ALLOWED
You MAY have up to 6in MAX bumper shock inside of frame rails measured from back of bumper
May be bolted or welded on to frame. MAX bumper height 20 inches MIN rear bumper height 16 inches
HOOD:
4 hold down spots allowed for the hood. Hood MUST remain on stock hinges but stock hinges do not count as hold down spots.
Front 2 spots only can be 1" MAX threaded rod but MUST keep factory body mount or equivalent spacing 3 nuts max and 2 washers MAX to hold threaded rod in and nothing bigger than a 4x4 hold down plate for the treaded rod only.
ONE loop 3/8 chain MAX or 3 loops 9 wire MAX.
Front hold downs only may go down to frame the other two MUST be sheet metal to sheet metal. Only one of these three may be used DO NOT USE BOTH.
ENGINE
STOCK MOTORS ONLY THAT CAME WITH THE VEHICLE NO CRADLES OR AFTERMARKET PARTS. Headers are allowed.NO V8s allowed.
RADIATORS
MUST be in stock location. No homemade radiators. No Radiator protectors allowed. No radi barrels
CAGE:
Simple four point cage allowed 1 dash bar MIN 6 inches from fire wall 1 seat bar and 1 door bar no longer than 6 inches past middle door post. IF your vehicle is a single cab truck your cage can go to the back of the cab but must not extend outside of the cab THIS IS FOR DRIVER SAFTEY NOT TO REINFORCE YOUR VEHICLE. Simple tank protector allowed can not extend anymore than 2 inches wider or taller than your fuel cell. if you are running a single cab truck and your fuel cell is in the front center most part of your box you MUST cover your fuel cell. officials decision is final.
DOORS
Doors may be chained or wired 4 spots per door Nothing to the frame. 1 loop 3/8 chain MAX per spot or 3 loops 9 wire MAX or you may weld the door shut in 3 spots MAX per seam no material bigger then 3x4x1/4
TIRES
ANY tire allowed STOCK RIMS ONLY. valve steam protectors ONLY allowed Nothing higher than 30 inches tall.
SUSPENSION
You may clamp springs 4 spots per side. Clamp size, 7/16 bolts, 4"x3" wide 1/4 thick material MAX. No Homemade springs stock amount of factory springs for that vehicle. Spring spacers allowed. Front upper and lower A arms must be stock. you may chain rear end down to gain height.
BODY BOLTS AND BOX/.
Do not touch Body bolts MUST remain stock. IF body bolts are broke you may replace them with 4 inch 1/2" bolt and stock body mount spacer and washers.
Box must remain upright in stock location NO folding over sides or creasing allowed. No extra body bolts allowed. Box can be wired or chained to cab in 4 spots total 2 per side same loop rule as doors.
STEERING.
Must be stock steering. No modified tie rods. Aftermarket column allowed. EVERYTHING MUST REMAIN STOCK.
TAILGATE/REAR HATCH.
tailgate and rear hatches MUST be secured shut 6 spots MAX same loop rule as doors.
Rear ends:
STOCK rear ends only NO braced or built rear ends allowed. ONLY thing allowed is you can weld your spider gears.
NO WELDING OTHER THEN WHAT IS STATED.
Limited weld Compact/Midsize
GENERAL:
Mandatory full face helmets with chin guard. if using open face helmet MUST have safety glasses.
MUST Remove all glass, chrome, plastic, moldings, headliner, flammable material, A/C coolant, trailer hitches and all interior.
Stock gas tank MUST be removed and a 5 gallon MAX metal tank or fuel cell MUST be mounted in the rear seat area.
fuel cell MUST be very secure and covered. Use proper rated fuel lines and be smart with your hose clamps. absolutely NO plastic fuel cells.
Inline Electric fuel pumps are allowed but switch MUST be clearly marked on/off.
No more than (2) batteries MAX allowed, which must be relocated to the front passenger floor, or be well secured and covered if mounted to the cage DO NOT MOUNT THEM CLOSE TO THE DOOR.
After market shifters pedals trans coolers headers steering columns except hydro steering are allowed.
Hood must have a big enough hole to easily put fires out. Extra hole(s) in the hood are not required if header holes are big enough.
NO plastic battery boxes or fuel cells.
FRAME and BODY:
Absolutely no welding, bolting, pinning, screwing, painting, shaping of the frame, sharpening the corners of the frame, or squaring them off in anyway. Frames will be
scoped. If any of this is done you will not be inspected, just loaded.
1 6"x6"x1/8" plate per side allowed you may form it but no cutting apart or stretching of plate allowed. what you cut you lose.
Frame or body repairs due to rust can be repaired with the same thickness of material and must be butt welded. MUST SEND PICTURES BEFORE REPAIRING.
You may crease body panels but NO welding or rolling allowed rear quarters MUST remain vertical.
No stuffing or filling of frame other then what is stated below for mounting bumper. anything more and you will cut it out or not run.
Do not undercoat, paint, cover or put any substance on or in the frame.
Do not weld any holes shut on the body or frame. MUST be open for inspection. IF there is no hole for inspection we will drill a 1/2" hole in the side of your frame rail for inspection.
MUST have min 2 3/8 chain or rebar or square stock or rebar in front windshield area for driver safety nothing can go past cowel and can either be bolted or welded in place. if we deem it excessive you will cut.
Hood cut outs may be bolted in (6) places each 3/8" bolt MAX
No extra body bolts or anything acting like one.
BUMPER:
21 inch MAX bumper height.
Any automotive bumper is allowed EXCEPT new yorker & imperial bumpers
You may weld any car bumper to the frame. MAY be loaded/stuffed.
Homemade bumpers allowed but MUST mimic a stock bumper. but can not have anymore than a 10 inch point from point to back of bumper and MUST be spread out over a 32in span NO AXE POINTS OR SPEARS.
ALL BUMPERS Can NOT be any wider then outside of front tires.
You may weld 8 inches total of tube or pipe to your bumper for bumper shocks.
It is also alright that your front hold down passes through the tube. This may run into
your frame or body. Any longer than that get the torch out.
You may weld the bumper to the body or bolt it on.
You may run one bumper strap on top of unibody rail no more than 6 inches long and 2 inches wide MAX. It may consist
of wire, 3/8 chain or a 2 inch strap to hold the bumper on. This strap may go to the unibody body only, not the frame.
DOORS
Doors may be Welded, chained, or wired the driver’s door may be welded solid.
Doors MAY be welded 5" on 5' off (5 on 5 off rule) 3 inch strap max. Nothing can be attatched to frame.
IF using chain or wire You may use 4 spots 3/8" MAX chain 1 loop MAX or 4 9wire max per door seam. Nothing can go around frame.
You may weld or bolt a 1/4 thick plate MAX on the outside of the door. (door skin) Drivers door only. Plate can be no longer than 3" past door seams
BODY MOUNTS
Do not touch any body mounts other then what is stated below.
Front two body mounts MAY be removed and your threaded rod may pass through frame and bumper shock and be sucked tight.
Hood, Trunk lid/tailgate
Hood may have 6 hold downs total. 1 inch threaded MAX or 1 loop per spot MAX 3/8" chain or 3 loops MAX per spot 9wire.
Four Hold downs may go to the frame and the other 2 MUST be sheet metal to sheet metal 5x5 MAX hold down plates 3 nuts max per rod.
Threaded rod must remain vertical and you may pull the rubber mount out.
You may weld 2 of your hold down rods or chain to the unibody and to the frame vertical only.
Do not weld the frame to the body in the front.
Truck may have 4 hold-downs MAX 3/4" threaded rod MAX or 1 loop 3/8" MAX per spot chain or 3 loops MAX 9wire 2 may go to the frame and the
other 2 must be sheet metal to sheet metal 5x5 trunk hold down plates allowed for threaded rod.
You MAY Tuck the trunk but 50% must remain in stock location.
Four-inch dish max. measured from top of quarter panels
INSIDE SAFETY BARS
Dash bar and seat bars are allowed and are highly recommended for driver’s safety. You may have 4 down bars max to the body and they must only be behind the inside drivers door seam.
Gas tank protector is recommended and must not extend more than 24 inches from the back of the seat bar. It may be welded or bolted in. It must be MIN 4 inches off the floor and be in line with the back seat opening with a MIN 4 inch gap from that.
Door bars 60" MAX
All cage material cannot be larger than 6inch MAX tube and must be 3 inches or higher off the
floor. No welding or bolting the cage to anything in the rear.
Back window bar is allowed but no material larger than 2 inchx3/8 inch thick material only. 2x2 square stock 2x2 angle iron or 2in flat stock allowed. Must be 6 inches away from halo or roof sign and you are allowed a 5x5x1/4 mounting pad. 50 percent on speaker deck 50 percent on trunk lid MAX (Can not act as another trunk hold down and can not make contact with the tank protector if you choose to have one.)
ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN
No v8s allowed.
Transmission MAY be chained or wired in place
Top motor mounts can be changed to 2x2x1/4 max square tube.
Motor mounts can be chained or wired down if using stock motor mounts or you can run solid motor mounts.
Carb swapping is allowed. basic engine mounted carb protector allowed nothing can be connected or touching firewall unibody frame or motor mounts.
No trans protectors or dp’s or any other kind of protector allowed NOTHING can be kicking off the firewall.
RADIATOR
Radiator must be in stock location. aluminum radiator is allowed.
No homemade radiators. or radi barrels allowed.
You may put 1/4" inch MAX mesh in front of the radiator or air condenser. nothing can be added to aid in mounting mesh you may bolt mesh in with 6 3/8" bolts MAX
TIRES
ANY tire any rim allowed.
SUSPENSION AND STEERING
Rusted out rear trailing arms may be fixed with same thickness material. OR you MAY swap with 2x2x1/8 square tube MAX.
You may reinforce tie rods but MUST have stock factory ends.
Stock appearing or aftermarket built struts allowed.
