Course Description:

In this workshop, we will explore Attachment Theory as it relates to our relationships with one another and with the idea of a higher power. Many of our clients' presenting problems begin or are because of conflict within relationships, especially close ones. Attachment history significantly impacts mental health and sets the tone for our coping abilities throughout the lifespan. Wouldn't it be helpful to us as clinicians to understand and be able to offer tools to our clients and ourselves to feel a bit more secure in relationships with ourselves, with others, and with a higher power?

Our Presenter:

Julie Pratt is an experienced LCPC with specializations in attachment, trauma, and spirituality. She has 20 years of experience with children, families, and adults with a current focus on coaching parents and adults to explore their attachment style and work towards a more secure relationship with themselves and their loved ones. She is passionate about walking alongside clients to help them navigate this crucial part of life and training fellow clinicians to do the same in their own life and with their clients.
