Please book your place via Ticket Tailor.
Join us for a special screening of the documentary feature film Why Not Scotland? followed by a Q&A/open discussion.
Produced by SCOTLAND: The Big Picture, shot across multiple locations in Europe, this feature-length documentary accompanies Flo, a young Scot, who is concerned by the state of nature and fearful about an uncertain future.
"Across mainland Europe, nature is making a dramatic recovery. Wildlife is returning, forests are expanding, rivers are being set free and wetlands restored. As nature bounces back, people are returning too, finding new economic opportunities and enjoying the many benefits of a revitalised landscape. So, if rewilding can happen elsewhere in Europe, why not Scotland?"Watch the trailer here
The film will be followed by a Q&A/open discussion with Tierney Lloyd, assistant producer and camera operator from SCOTLAND: The Big Picture. This will be a brilliant chance to hear more about the making of the film, as well as engage in an open room discussion.
Hot drinks will be provided between 6.30pm - 7pm. Film starts at 7pm. Running time is 60 minutes. Feel free to bring food and snacks to the event as we are only serving hot drinks. You may also wish to bring a cushion and/or blankets as it may be more comfortable for sitting on the chairs and benches in the café.
