WHY Kids [age 4 - 10] with Mary Lachappelle

Brings the basics and benefits of yoga to your little ones as they have fun with “downward dog”, “tree”, “cobra” and more.
A safe space for your kids to move and breathe, led by a yoga instructor specifically trained to work with youngsters and their needs. Calms and centers the growing body and mind.

$10 per child, drop-in only
Mary LaChappelle began her yoga journey in 2009 after completing a 200-hour training at Ganesh College of Yoga. She has also studied Embodyoga and Mindful Yoga Therapy for Veterans at Newington Yoga Center, and completed an additional 200-hour certficate Be.Yoga.
Mary teaches children and family yoga within the community. She also loves her adult students who bring a different energy to the practice. In her classes and workshops, she invites people of all ages, to be mindful with movement, creativity and laughter.

In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with family, especially her son Ryan. She loves traveling, hiking, reading a good book and writing. She has a love for food and cooking. Mary finds enjoyment in meeting new people and building community.
