Why I Teach Film Screening and Panel Discussion
Join the Nashville Public Education Foundation for the premiere of Why I Teach, a documentary that offers an authentic, behind-the-scenes look at the lives of three Metro Nashville Public Schools educators. From their first cup of coffee to the end of a long day, this film highlights the dedication, challenges, and joys that define the teaching profession.
Hear directly from educators as they share their stories, showcasing the incredible talent and resilience it takes to make a difference in students’ lives. This film not only dispels common myths about teaching but also celebrates the vital role our teachers play in helping students thrive.
We’re honored to have Celia Bowman-Jeffries, Taylor Edens, and Graham Spencer, the featured educators in the documentary, join us for a panel discussion following the screening.
Dinner will be provided. If you have dietary restrictions or need accessibility accommodations, please email .
