What: Fun and friendly weekend with something for everyone! Spend a weekend with your horse in the beautiful North York Moors, meet up with old mates and make new ones.
Available classes:
- Level one qualifier/league class - run as per usual TREC GB events.
- Stress-less TREC class with lots of extra support - magnified map with pre-drawn route for the orienteering, a shorter control of paces, and an obstacle course where you can choose whether to ride or lead every obstacle to best negotiate the task with your horse. **Please note the route is still just as tricky as a normal TREC route and as such is NOT suitable for horses (or humans) who are not confident across all terrain. We are in the moors and the route is hilly and rocky in places with some narrow paths.**
- Fiendish fun class of level one-ish length route (as it's early in the season) but expect to navigate using 8-figure grid references, bearing and distance instructions, aerial photo, historic map, worm map etc. Ideal early season brush-up on those skills for level 2A/3/4 riders, or chance to try them out for the first time in a lower pressure environment after training on them over the winter.
- MA & PTV only class (Sunday)
- extra practice MA/PTV rounds available after the competition subject to time/entries.
