On September 17th, Jennifer Busa, Public Programs Coordinator at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, will make a PowerPoint presentation entitled "That's Weird." She will explore some of the CMC&H's strangest items, such as Hair Jewelry or Creepy Puppets or a Corpse Preserver. You will learn how even the oddest items can be gateways into a deeper understanding and appreciation of our state's history.If you possess anything that seems strange or weird, bring it to the meeting for possible identification.
The quarterly business meeting starts at 7:00PM with the presentation to immediately follow.
Location: VFW Post 591 @ 23 Prince Street with parking on the street or in the lot.
Light refreshments after the meetings.
