The annual Christmas Marketplace is set to take place on the Plaza of the International Storytelling Center, offering a festive experience for the whole family. Shoppers can browse a unique selection of handmade gifts from talented local artisans and crafters, perfect for checking off your holiday gift list. The newly-opened Jackson Theatre will also host fun and creative activities organized by the McKinney Center.🎨
Enjoy delicious food & sweets from local food trucks, Juicy Butts BBQ & L’Churros, located on the West Side of the Washington County Courthouse. Don’t forget to also support our downtown food merchants: Main Street Café, Opossum’s Tale, Texas Burritos & More, and Boone Street Market.🍔😋
Santa will be in Jonesborough to hand out a treat, and kids can take their photo with him in his sleigh. Don’t forget to bring your Santa Letters to drop off in the North Pole Mailbox. You can find the Mailbox beside the Washington County Courthouse next to his sleigh. Letters dropped off by Wednesday, December 18th, with a return address, will receive a letter back from Santa himself by Christmas. 🎅
Free gift wrapping will also be offered inside the International Storytelling Center for purchases made in the downtown shops or at the Christmas Marketplace. Gift wrapping will be available each Saturday of Christmas in the Olde Jonesborough series.🎁
