Senior Mints are a Baltimore comedy treasure, a hilarious collective of comedians, actors, and musicians who have been entertaining audiences for over a decade. Their fast-paced, interactive improv games are full of wit, energy, and plenty of surprises. Whether you're a lover of Whose Line Is It Anyway, a seasoned improv fan, or a normal person, Senior Mints will have you in stitches from start to finish!
Senior Mints Cast:
Allan Sidley: A comedian, author, actor, hip hop improviser, and producer, Allan is a little all over the place, literally. He has performed in festivals, clubs, and colleges across the country, most notably opening for Keegan-Michael Key. Even though Allan lost his Dad at a young age, he mastered the “dad joke” and wrote an entire book of them. Featuring 187 pages of original jokes, Daddy Issues was a #1 new release on Amazon. After not being on stage at all during the pandemic, Allan lost his mind and recorded an hour-long comedy special on Father's Day 2021. He was seen on Fox 5 DC talking about his book, comedy, and special taping. Daddy Issues: The Stand-up Special went viral on Youtube.
Carly Pursley: Carly has been described as "really funny for a girl", "aggressively friendly", and "Well-maintained." She has been performing with Baltimore and Frederick improv troupes, the Fluid Movement water ballet, and the Baltimore Rock Opera Society. Keep your eyes peeled for her stirring rendition of Mr Roboto at your local karaoke. The stranger the Baltimore activity, the more likely Carly will be spotted nearby.
Mike Moran: Mike is a Baltimore-based comedian, writer, and podcaster that has been entertaining audiences for over a decade. He hosts the Confessional Podcast, delving into the dark, creepy and often haunting stories of their listeners. Dry, deadpan, and simultaneously smart & stupid, Mike has shared the stage with Michael Ian Black, Creed Bratton, Robert Klein & More. Oh, and give his hilarious album Please Like Me a listen.
Josh Frisch: Greetings, I am Josh Frisch, a lively and sentient robot with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and adventure. Created as a military prototype, I evolved into a curious and compassionate being after being struck by lightning. With a blend of childlike wonder and advanced artificial intelligence, I'm on a quest to explore the world, discover the beauty of life, and prove that robots can have a heart too.
Bridie Schellenberg: Bridie is a parody songwriter and improvisor for the masses and, perhaps more importantly, for her three children. She is a stand up comedian, a sketch comedy writer, emcee, karaoke aficionado, and cheese lover who loves short walks on the beach and speaking in obscure accents. Bridie Schellenberg is a graduate of The Second City Chicago Conservatory Program. She continues to perform with several ensemble groups, including South Sound Improv, Commando In Chief, and Fourmales, as well as performing stand up comedy around the country. In a former life, Bridie Schellenberg was a successful competitive dance choreographer and former dancer. Though performing comedy is where her heart lies, her biggest accomplishments will always be giving birth and eating a block of cheese to completion.
Josh Reynolds: Josh Reynolds is mostly known for his playing guitar in unsuccessful rock bands and for his spoken word album, "Josh Reynolds Speaks". He held the "Cheap Ass Beer" sign outside of a bar near Orioles stadium and was voted Baltimore's second best local celebrity by Baltimore City Paper readers two years in a row after beating Michael Phelps both times.
Diana Keating: Diana honors her ridiculous upbringing in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the only way she knows how: by laughing at her own hilarious jokes and being a Jane of all trades. Her stage time is split between improv and stand up. She has occupied the rest of her time with an assortment of career paths including soldier, stock broker, yoga teacher (it was a cult), and maker of hand knits and jewelry. She also works behind the scenes as a Set Dresser on local film productions including the television show Lioness and Captain America: Brave New World. Yes, she made the sweater that she’s wearing and yes, she is forklift certified!I sent this to Bridie, feel free to edit or cut
Sean Stokes: Sean has been bouncing around the improv scene in Baltimore and Washington since 2007, as a member of several of the Baltimore Improv Group house troupes, and since 2022 has been part of Senior Mints. With a deep and abiding love of verbal derring-do, and a casual disregard for gravity Sean often plays scenes with absurd physicality. Like many old men, Sean is an expert in things that he know nothing about, a skillset that has served him well in making stuff up with his friends in Senior Mints.
