This presentation is delivered by Sight For All, an Adelaide-based, not-for-profit, social impact organisation.
Key topics covered in the presentation include:
• The primary causes of vision loss in Australia
• Identification of common eye condition symptoms (many of which may go unnoticed)
• Treatment and management of prevalent eye conditions
• Promoting and maintaining eye health
The presentation will be delivered by Dominique Birbeck, who is an Eye Health Educator with Sight For All , as well as an Optometrist.
Dominique graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision science)/Master of Optometry from Flinders University with the Paediatric Clinical Optometry Award. She has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Public Health.
Dominique has worked across many different sectors, including clinical, research and academia. She is passionate about eye care and educating her patients and community in how they can better look after their eyes.
