Who's Afraid of Critical Race Theory?

This presentation invites us to identify the importance of Critical Race Theory as an anti racism tool for advancement. It looks at how the emotionality of Eurocentric hegemony blocks critical dialogue (CRT) in service of the status quo. Drawing on the theory of "difficult dialogue" and "authentic intellectual work," we outline how communities of color must challenge dominant narratives of mainstream institutions with critical alternative counter-narratives.
