Whorror KiKi Ball

It's that time of year again, and the San Ysidro Health CHIP team is thrilled to invite you to our annual KIKI Ball! Our KIKI Ball is a celebration dedicated to our LGBTQIA+ community, ballroom culture, and those who have been affected with HIV/AIDS. This time, we're luring you into the mysterious light of the blood moon for our Whorror-themed extravaganza.

Join us for music, free food, category walking contests, and a Voguing contest with a $300 grand prize! We will be providing free rapid HIV testing at our event where you can receive a free drink and raffle ticket to our raffle prizes. It’s a spooky gathering open to ages 14+.

Walking Categories:

1.) Best Dressed- Are you in costume? Show it off for a chance to win at best dressed!

2.) Face - Show off just your face to the judges give us the glamor of a witch, the gore of a vampire, or the ghouls of mythical crareature ( examples: slenderman, La Llorona, night of the living dead)

3.) Face with No Face - Get creative and scare the heck out of us! examples: Ghost Face, Ring Girl, Jason, No-face(spirited Away)

4.) Runway- Strut down the runway as mothers Naomi Campbell & Shalom Harlow would, let me see you walk!

5.) Final Girl Realness-

• Fem- inspo:Halloween, Scream,Midsommar, X/Maxxxine
• Masc- Inspo:Get Out, Cabin in the Woods, Smile, wearing a Jock's letterman's jacket all bloody
• Enby- inspo:The Babadook, Fran-N-Furter, Glen/Glenda/Glenny* (seed of chucky),

6.) Bodies Bodies Bodies: Serve dead bodies, corner, mortician (Dexter), mummy, body bag, show off your bodies assests be bold.

7.) Bring it as a Haus: Groups of 3 or 5 max. Choose fromt the groups below and the characters listed-

• Scooby gang(Velma, Daphne, Fred, Shaggy & Scobby or scrappy too)
• Hocus Pocus ( Sanderson sisters,Thackery Binx, Billy Butcherson)
• The Addams family( Wednesday, Morticia, Gomez, Uncle Fester, Pugsly, Cousin itt)
• Rocky Horror Picture
• Coven of Vampires or Witches: vampires should be scary or alluring with cohesive looks, witches should be in all black or cohesive (Hex Girls, AHS Coven,The Craft) Props encouraged (no weapons)

8.)Open to all performance (OTA)- We want to see a battle, vogue the haus down

Light Sensitivity Disclaimer:

The KIKI Ball is a horror theme event that will feature lazer lighting throughout the indoor venue. The venue also features a spacious outdoor patio for attendees. Strobe lights will not be used at the event.
