From the Artist:
"My goal in these classes isn’t about just creating a painting to take home, but to share some tools and concepts that my students can apply to every artwork they create in the future. The painting they take home will be a record and reminder of that."
*The Art Center does not offer class exchanges. Refunds are only provided if the Art Center cancels the class.
Instructor: Marshall Hall
A third generation Californian, Marshall was raised as an artist. As soon as he could hold a pencil, Marshall was transfixed by, what he would later term, the alchemy of art: turning two dimensions into three through the simple application of line, shade and contrast.
Marshall received his first oil paint kit when he was seven but the acrylic set he received on his eleventh birthday sealed the deal for a lifelong pursuit of magic and the muse.
Although the first painting in Marshall’s trademark style came out in 1980, he didn’t stay focused on that vision until 2015 when it appeared that society was finally ready to embrace his unique approach.
Since then, Marshall has been working on developing his portfolio in order to finally realize his personal goal of sharing his vision with the world.
