So you know that we approach our meat much like we approach our friends - with careful selection and consideration of where they came from, of course.
Lucky you, we're taking this chance to show you, our friends, how to be the same thoughtful meat buyer as you are neighbor!
To do this, we're taking a soup to nuts approach - breaking down the whole hog, showcasing our favorite old-world methods, pairing classic techniques with new ideals to create those perfect cuts of meat you so graciously order from us each day. Then we'll pass the baton to you, offering you the chance to practice, heck, butchering a whole hog can be a lot of work! Plus, we firmly believe the best way to learn is to do.
Don't forget to add on the pig share and take home a variety of local cuts to eat at home!
As always, we'll be serving you a little bit of charcuterie, a beverage or two, and cooking up a few cuts for y'all to taste. Come hungry!
After the class we'll offer 10% off our retail case too.
