About this Event
Participants will witness (and taste!) just how easy it is to eat plant-based and whole foods. Amie will demonstrate how to cook a full meal for the class while she shares information about the benefits of a plant-based whole foods lifestyle, which can include weight loss and disease prevention and reversal. Following the demonstration, enjoy a delicious meal and ask Amie your questions!

About Amie: Amie Hamlin is the co-founder and executive director at Coalition for Healthy School Food, a non-profit that helps schools around the country. She is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through e-Cornell and has a Masters Degree in Education. She raised her daughter vegan since birth. In January of 2020 she switched from a vegan diet to a whole food plant-based vegan diet and has been reaping the benefits ever since. She also has a non-commercial farm where she grows fruits and vegetables using veganic methods, growing without the use of any animal inputs. She loves to share her knowledge about plant-based eating with others.
