Drop-in Meditation Class for a clear and happy mind


These classes offer simple practical methods to improve the quality of our life and develop inner peace through meditation and Buddhist teachings.

Classes consist of two guided meditations and a teaching to help us solve our daily problems and find the lasting happiness we seek.

Beginners and everyone is welcome.

 

No need to wear special clothing. Dress comfortably. We sit on chairs or you can sit on a cushion and mat on the floor which we provide. You can pay at the door.

 

About the Teacher: 


As a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Gen Kelsang Mila is a modern – day Kadampa Nun and the resident teacher of Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre. She has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 19 years and ordained for fourteen years. Her teachings are always practical and easy to apply to everyday life.

 

How to join in ?

Please use the Rothesay Avenue entrance to the parking lot. Park at Baby City and use those steps to come up to the upper level courtyard.


You are invited to arrive a few minutes before the class starts to register and settle in or have a cup of tea or coffee. We have a book shop to browse water on sale and it is helpful to bring a pen and notebook if you would like to take notes. There is secure and ample parking.  

After the class there are refreshments and an opportunity to ask questions informally and meet other people.
