HAVE YOUR SAY - Thursday 15th January 7pm at Whitwick Park Hall. David Wilson Homes East Midlands are preparing to submit an outline planning application for residential development on land East of Thornborough Road, Coalville. They aim to secure outline planning permission for the development of around 180 new homes, consisting of a mix of market and affordable housing, along with extensive publicly accessible open space.
David Wilson Homes have launched an holding an online public consultation and engagement event, which will run between Wednesday 10th December – Wednesday 24th December 2025 where feedback on the proposals can be provided.
As this affects residents in Whitwick, the Parish Council have arranged to hold a Consultation event at Whitwick Park Hall on Thursday 15th January at 7.00PM. This is our monthly Full Council meeting, there will be a public participation session before the meeting starts. The session will be a drop in session with material on display and a David Wilson Homes representative available to talk to, with a brief presentation and a question and answers session to follow.
