Who are we? The Whitney Smith Big Steam Band is back! With 17 of Toronto’s best professional musicians, tha band has its roots in the hard swing roar of the 1950s post-big band era. Arrangements by band members of classics and originals by Smith. To our knowledge, we are the only jazz orchestra in the city where the majority of our repertoire is band-composed and where a wide roster of vocalists are a featured as a key part of the show.
Every 3rd Monday of the month, two sets. $20 through Eventbrite. $25 at the door. Limited seating.
