This 4 day course includes the Rescue 3 Europe Whitewater Rescue Technician - Recreational and the Wilderness First Aid Level 3.
The WRT course is designed for river users who require advanced rescue capability in a whitewater environment. The WFA3 is ideal for anyone working or playing outdoors.
This training will be facilitated by the Curriculum Development Unit and Mountain Training Ireland.

- Tensioning systems and mechanical advantage
- Simple belay systems
Prerequisites: Confident swimmer, with experience of water-based activities (rafting, kayaking, canoeing, canyoning, coasteering, etc)
Minimum age: 18
