Whitehaven NEW YEARS EVE 31st DECEMBER 2024 Golden SandsCharity Dip in the Sea
Enter water at 9.15am on the Golden Sands Whitehaven Harbour
Only Official Bucket Collections on the Day for RNLI and Coast Guard. who will be in attendance
Everyone welcome for a Charity of there own choice.
Anybody doing the Dip does it at their own Risk
Minimum age 14.
14 – 16 year olds MUST go in the water with an adult
There is no Registration for the event - just turn up on the day ..
Fancy Dress competition with prize as always
Arrive ready to go in or change on harbourside, the Coffee van will be there on the Harbour for anyone wanting hot drinks
Fun warm ups before the Dip outside the Beacon on the Harbour
8.40am - 9am led by local Fitness & Waterfit instructor Tina Spedding
then to the Golden Sands for a safety brief before we go in the water on the sound of the Klaxon Horn, at 9.15am by local entrepreneur Luke Johnston – he’ll be judging the Fancy Dress too.
FREE PARKING an hour before and after the Dip 8.15 am – 10.15 am
