Your instructor will analyse your paddling to refine existing skills and develop new paddling skills to allow you to style it on Grade 2 water and run rivers confidently. You will be introduced to intermediate paddle strokes, improved boat control through transmission, angle and edging, and using river features to assist in making moves on the river. You will have fun practising these skills with a play based focus. This course is for those who have some Grade 1 – 2 river experience, wanting to move forward in their paddling by building and refining their skills to paddle confidently on most, if not all, Grade 2 river features.
