White Static is an immersive art experience by Jaber Dabagia, hosted by The Rising Phoenix Gallery in Michigan City. This unique opening reception invites visitors into a multi-sensory environment where contemporary 2D imagery, projected video, and atmospheric sound converge into a living artwork.The evening will feature live music by ShapingClouds, enhancing the immersive nature of the installation and creating a continuously evolving experience throughout the two-hour event. Adding another layer of intrigue, the artist will be in attendance, appearing in one of his alter-ego costumed personas and engaging directly with the space and guests.
The public opening reception takes place Friday, February 6, from 5–7 PM, and all are welcome to attend. Following the opening, the White Static exhibition will remain on view February 6 through March 28, offering visitors continued opportunities to experience this striking and unconventional body of work.
