About this Event
Bring your Canoe or Kayak and join WHITE OAK BAYOU WETLANDS CONSERVANCY for this FREE Family Event! Observe Bayou waterfowl, a beaver dam, and other wildlife in Maumelle’s Urban Wetlands! A two mile round trip tour (approx 1 hour) will be provided by DEVOE BEND DEVELOPMENT. Float trips will begin at 9:00 am, 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Each float will be limited to 20 boats. We will have a limited amount of canoes/kayaks, life jackets and paddles available on the day of the event. These are on a first come basis. Motorized boats PROHIBITED. Each person will need to complete a waiver. Anyone under 18 will need to have parental consent to participate. Paper waivers will be available the day of the event.
