Awards: Medals will be awarded dependent on entries in each individual class. Awards will be based on the highest individual WA18 .
Bespoke glass prizes will be awarded to all archers that complete the challenge of finishing all four rounds.
General Information: The rounds are WA18 - Two rounds on Saturday, two on Sunday, shot on vertical 3-spot faces for recurve and compound archers. Longbow and barebow archers will shoot at single-spot faces. Shooting will be timed with ends of 3 arrows to be shot within 2 minutes. Assembly will take place 5 minutes prior to the commencement of each session.
Please do not arrive before 9am as the hall will not be open before this time.
Archers eligible for the masters section can choose which section to enter. They will only be eligable for medals in this section.
Junior entries will be eligible for junior awards only. Under 21's are welcome to enter as a senior archer and be competitive in that class, should they wish to do so.
Please note that this event is open to members of ArchersGB or another WA-affiliated National Governing Body. Membership cards will be requested at registration. Participation may be refused if you are unable to show your membership card.
Please expect low levels of music to be played when collecting arrows/during breaks between rounds. There is no cafe at Harton Sports Centre. Please bring your own food if you are staying for the full days' shooting.
Dress regulations: will apply (as per ArcheryGB rule 307). Please wear non marking indoor shoes.
Photography: In line with the recommendation in the Archery GB Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy, Whitburn Archers request that any person wishing to engage in any video, zoom or close range photography should register by completing the relevant section of the entry form. Live streaming is not permitted within the tournament hall. If parents/carers have any particular concern about their child/young person being photographed or filmed they should notify the organisers.
The Whitburn Archers reserves the right to decline entry to any person unable to meet or abide by these conditions.
Drug Testing: Archers competing at record status tournaments may be subject to testing.
Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply; Non-compliance will be treated as a positive result.
By entering this competition, you consent to testing, if you are entering a minor into this competition you consent to the testing of that minor, this is in line with UK Anti-Doping Policy, Rule 5.7.2.
Smoking: No smoking or vaping is allowed in Harton Sports Centre.
GDPR: When you enter competitions the following information may be collected and shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems and other competitors for example target lists and results may be published: First Name, Surname, Gender, Bow style, Date of Birth/Age category, Club (and ID), Round (unless defined by age), Disabled (Y/N), Disability info.
