We're proud to welcome The Whistlebinkies, one of Glasgow’s longest-running traditional folk groups, formed in the late 1960s. Featuring Peter Anderson (side drum, bodhran); Stuart Eydmann (concertina); Mark Hayward (violin); Eddie McGuire (flute, piccolo); Karen Marshalsay (gut & wire strung small harps) Anna Louise Wallace (violin); Rab Wallace (Lowland pipes, smallpipes) composer and flute player Eddie McGuire was born and raised in Possilpark, the band returns to North West Glasgow following their appearance at the Possilpark Festival (having played at the Brothers Bar and Denmark Street Community Centre). Their rich sound showcases decades of Scottish folk tradition performed by an exceptional ensemble of musicians.💛 Supporting Young People
