About this Event
Step into the charming world of the Regency Era and Jane Austen with a fun and interactive afternoon of parlor games. Inspired by the art of gossip - a favorite pastime of the period - Whisperton is a delightful way to spend an afternoon - whether joining on your own or with others.
2025 marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birthday and so a fitting time to celebrate all things Jane Austen!
Led by Bridget Bray, creator of unique experiences over tea, and owner of the tea line, Whisperton promises a lighthearted escape into Regency charm. Whether an avid follower of all things Jane Austen, or simply intrigued to join in on an afternoon of amusements, the event is open to all.
The afternoon will be accompanied by tea and a selection of historic inspired sweets.
Whisperton will take place at The Mead House, a historic house, build circa 1855, located in Dobbs Ferry and home to the Dobbs Ferry Historical Society. Given the historic nature and layout of the house, spots are limited.
Whisperton is being presented on both Saturday February 15 and Sunday February 16.
