Klee's first official tasting and it is gonna be with whisky! The whiskies will be introduce and presented by whisky enthusiast Berkay Alica, and we are going to have a line-up which will please beginners and experienced whisky drinkers alike.
We are going to taste five whiskies starting with an ex-bourbon matured single malt. Our second and third single malts, which are both exclusively ex-sherry cask matured, will be from the same distillery, but they come with two different age statements for us to be able to understand the impact of maturation on the distillate. The fourth one is going to be a subtle introduction to peated whisky which combines both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry cask maturation. To finish the evening off, we will present a heavily peated one, which will make the evening unforgettable!
We will also provide the lovely tasting class with some small tapas from our kitchen which will fill the empty stomach and accompany the whiskies without overpowering them.
