Join us for our first Autumn tasting and it's perfect for the time of year - an evening sampling some of Scotland's finest smoky whiskies.
About this Event

We will be entering the world of peaty and smoky whiskies for the first of our Autumn tastings. It is the perfect way to kick off as the temperatures drop and the nights pull in. We will take you through five whiskies that demonstrate many of the key factors that make smoky whiskies so unique and popular.

From the traditional heartlands of Islay in Scotland's Inner Hebrides to the new wave of innovative distillers elsewhere, we will explore this expressive set of whiskies. Learn a bit of the history and information about each brand or distillery that you are tasting from your experienced host.

The tasting will take place at The Old White Bear in Hampstead. This is on Well Road NW3 and is just five minutes walk from Hampstead underground station (Northern Line / Edgware branch). We are excited as this is just our second event at this venue.

The tasting will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Please feel free to arrive early for a pre-tasting drink or bite to eat. They have a great selection of craft beers and a good menu on the evening.

No previous whisky knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and interest.

The group will be limited even though national Covid restrictions have been lifted. This will protect all attendees, host venue staff and your presenter.

Hand sanitiser will be provided.

All guests are asked to Drink Responsibly. Sample bottles will be provided should you wish to save your whisky to enjoy later at home.

Strictly over 18s only. Please bring ID if you are lucky enough to look close to that age.
