WHISKEY DRAM is hitting the road for a string of summer shows with old friends and new mates!Bringing you a refreshing blend of full-bodied pirate folk rock — with a peaty profile of Irish trad, Australiana, blues, bluegrass, a briny punk palate and a burnt tonewood finish — Whiskey Dram invites you out of your seats and into the crew.
They'll have soulful melodies, roaring gang vocals, and hopefully showered.
Joining them are:
BADCOCK BROTHERS, Leif Helland and Aaron Allen have been performing as a duo together since being locked down in the same house for months on end in 2021, emerging with a set of newly written songs scrawled on the backs of beer boxes and sheets of wood.
Switching from Traditional Tunes, to Folk, Outlaw Country and Torch songs all served with a healthy dose of humour across different instruments they hope to get you dancing, laughing and wondering about that damn suitcase radio.

EVAN BUCKLEY is a Canberra based songwriter and frontman of The Burley Griffin. Having spent his childhood waiting for the rapture in a strict fundamentalist cult, Buckley’s songs are a poignant reflection on loss of faith, marriage, and certainty, balanced out by the ecstatic freedom found in embracing life’s unpredictability.
Live, Evan’s songs cover a sweeping emotional range — gentle introspection swells into searing crescendos and soaring vocals, punctuated by Buckley’s charismatic and humorous storytelling. Established as an act to keep an eye on, The Burley Griffin has earned support slots for Australian icons like Mia Dyson and Augie March, and appearances at major festivals including The National Folk Festival and Jindyfest.
