The MacMillan Spirit House is honored to present an evening of great food and Whiskey Crafted by US Army Green Berets who answered Americas call just days after 9/11 with a daring insertion into Afghanistan on horseback. These same men were featured in the Hollywood Film “12 Strong” and the Documentary “Legion of Brothers” and are memorialized by the America’s Response Monument at Ground Zero.
Whiskey & War Stories. Learn about America’s resilient response to 9/11 from those who lived it! You will hear how the original horse soldiers, a group of special Armed Forces Veterans, who served our country through countless missions, then came together to make a great Bourbon Whiskey. Horse Soldier bottles are pressed from steel molds created from actual steel from the World Trade Center
Join us for an evening of Courage and Bourbon while enjoying a flight of expressions of the Horse Soldier Bourbons, as well as bourbon-inspired appetizers and custom craft cocktails featuring Horse Soldier Bourbon. Hear from Brand Specialist from Horse Soldier who will share stories of the first response team into Afghanistan after 9/11. Discover the historic legacy of the Horse Soldiers elite Green Berets Wednesday, December 11 from 7:00-9:00pm. $25 per person includes flight.
