We're back y’all!The hardest hitting charity facial hair competition in the land makes its triumphant return, February 8th, 2025
It’s gonna be a big one, 'cause it's the 5th anniversary of our 5th one. You know Derby City Whisker Club hasn’t forgotten how to throw a party!
It will be at the Whirling Tiger
Doors: 5pm
Admission: $15 (you will pay at the door)
Registration: 5pm to 7pm
Competition start: 7pm

George has been a friend and member of our club for many years, and since 2018, has been spreading joy and happy messages through his singing telegrams. He has done 3,000 of them all over the area!
For the first time ever, George will be doing a meet & greet at WhiskerMania and the pre party, taking photos with fans in his ‘Happy Booth.’ He will also be signing autographs, selling t-shirts and his Happy George’s Beard and Body Oil for Men & Women. Make sure to stop by and check it out!

The Derby City Whisker Club is proud to announce that the proceeds of WhiskerMania 6 will be donated to Blessings in a Backpack Louisville Chapter!
Blessings in a Backpack is a charity that was started right here in Louisville whose mission is to mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across America who might otherwise go hungry. In Jefferson County, where almost 80,000 kids are food insecure, The Louisville chapter works to help provide healthy food for the weekend to kids whose meals during the week may only be the ones they get at school. During the 2022/23 school year they have distributed 241,600 bags of ready-to-eat food for 6,882 kids in 55 local schools.
We are all super excited about this partnership with Blessings in a Backpack and hope that WhiskerMania 6 is a good one for them! To learn more them, please checkout the link below:

Fake Facial Hair:
Fake Fantastic
Craft beards and/or mustaches made from any materials you can get your hands on.
Fake Realistic
Fake beard and/or mustache strives to look as natural and realistic as possible.
Mustache:
Natural Mustache
Mustache may be styled but without styling aids. The hairs are allowed to start growing from up to a maximum of 1.5 cm beyond the end of the upper lip. No styling aids are allowed.
Styled Mustache
Mustache may be styled with styling aids. The hairs are allowed to start growing from up to a maximum of 1.5 cm beyond the end of the upper lip. This category includes classic styles like the Dali, English, Handlebar and everything in between.
Partial Beard:
Goatee
Facial hair grown only on chin, upper and lower lip. Beard and mustache may be styled but without aids. No styling aids allowed. Mustache not required.
Whaler
Unbroken unshaven area from temple to chin to temple. Upper lip clean shaven. No styling aids allowed.
Partial Beard Natural
All partial beards outside of Goatee and Whaler NOT using any styling aids will be considered partial beard natural.
Partial Beard Freestyle
All partial beards not matching other classes will be considered partial beard freestyle. Styling aids are allowed.
Full Beard:
Natural: 0 to 5 inches
Full beard under 5 inches as measured from the bottom lip. As grown, mustache integrated. No styling aids allowed.
Natural: 5 to 10 inches
Full beard between 5 and 10 inches as measured from the bottom lip. As grown, mustache integrated. No styling aids allowed.
Natural: 10 inches and Over
Full beard 10 inches and over as measured from the bottom lip. As grown, mustache integrated. No styling aids allowed.
Full Beard w/ Styled Mustache
Full beard of any size. Only mustache can be styled with aids and may start growing from up to maximum of 1.5 cm beyond the end of the upper lip.
Full Beard Freestyle
All full beards not matching other classes will be considered full beard freestyle. Styling aids are allowed.
Best Stable:
What is a stable? Well I know we’re in Kentucky, but we ain’t talking horses, we’re talking wrestling factions! Think the NWO or D-Generation X. In the category, a minimum of 3 individuals dressed as your favorite wrestling stable (or you can make up your own) will compete head to head. You and your group will be allowed to participate in this and a facial hair category.

We are also partnering with the World Soul Patch & Fancy Hat Association once again to host The World Soul Patch & Fancy Hat Championship! This is a very prestigious event that only happens once every 5 years!
