About this Event
Join Chef Tommy Tucker, a Columbus State graduate and accomplished baker, for an immersive two-day cake and cake decorating class. In this hands-on experience, Chef Tucker will guide participants through the process of baking a white cake from scratch and crafting the perfect American buttercream frosting. Participants will then learn to decorate a layer cake, from applying the crumb coat to executing intricate decorative piping techniques.
Chef Tucker will demonstrate a variety of piping methods, allowing each participant to practice and perfect their skills on their own cake. At the end of the class, everyone will take home their completed layer cake.
Participants will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class, so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and tie back any long hair.
If you need to cancel your booking, you can do so up to 48 hours before the class to receive a full refund or class credit.
Classes are limited to 16 students. If you have any food allergies, please contact us in advance, as recipe changes cannot be made on the day of the class.
The class is priced per guest and is open to ages 15 and up.
